Lorient is a north-coast village that people live in all year, a school, a church, a shop, a beach used mostly by residents. Felicita sits above it, high enough for the long view and the breeze, a few minutes from the sand and its well-known surf spot. St-Jean, with its shops and beach restaurants, is a short drive west. It is a quieter address than St-Jean while keeping everything on the north coast close by.
What the house has
Seven bedrooms sleeping fourteen. I will confirm the exact bed configuration for your group before you book rather than describe one I have not checked, ask me. The house is new, with a fitness room and a cinema room, a private pool with the view in front, a full kitchen, an outdoor grill, air conditioning, wifi and high-speed internet, and televisions. An airport shuttle is included, and the house is set up for families.
Practical notes before you book
Rent cars, at least two for a group of fourteen. Being on the heights means the view and the quiet, and it also means you drive down to the beach and out to dinner; nothing is far, but little is on foot. Lorient's beach is reef-protected at one end and takes surf at the other when the north swell is up, which changes week to week; ask me what it is doing around your dates.
Who this house is really for
A large party, an extended family, or two or three families together, who want a recent house with room to spread out, a pool, a gym and a cinema room, on the quieter side of the north coast. Fourteen guests is a lot of house; a couple would be renting far more than they need. If you want to walk to shops and restaurants, St-Jean suits you better, and I will say so. For a big group that will use the house as the base of the trip, Felicita is a strong fit.
