Corossol, St Barth

JUNE · Six-Bedroom Villa in Corossol

JUNE sleeps twelve across six bedrooms in Corossol, on the northwest coast. Corossol is a fishing village, boats pulled up on a small sheltered beach, houses, and people who live here all year. It stays quiet. Gustavia and the port are very close, so town is easy to reach without the noise of it. The villa has a private heated pool, air conditioning, a lift and a fitness room.

Ask about this villa

I am on St Barth. Want to be sure before you book? Ask me and I will send you fresh photos or a short video of this villa on WhatsApp, or go and see it in person for you. Nothing staged, nothing hidden.

Corossol, honestly

Corossol is still a working village rather than a holiday address. Fishing boats sit pulled up on a small sheltered beach, the people here live in the village year round, and there is very little passing traffic. Do not count on stepping out in the evening and finding somewhere open, you will take the car for most things, and I would rather say that now than let you find out. Gustavia sits just around the coast, so the port, the quays and the shops stay within easy reach without any of the noise reaching you.

Six bedrooms, twelve guests

The house sleeps twelve in six bedrooms. I am not going to guess how the beds are arranged, because that is the kind of detail people plan a trip around, ask me and I will confirm it with the agency before you book. What I can tell you is that the villa is set up for children: a cot is provided, the pool is heated, and there is a lift. A fitness room as well.

What the house comes with

Full kitchen with oven, hob and microwave, plus an outdoor barbecue. Air conditioning, wifi and high-speed internet, television, an ironing board. Airport transfers are arranged. Practically, that means you can cook here rather than going out every night, which matters with a group of twelve and matters more in Corossol, where the village is not where you go looking for dinner. I live on St Barth year round, so if something in the list is unclear, ask and I will check it rather than repeat a listing back to you.

Who I'd send here

This is a house for a group that wants one base and real time together. Twelve people, six bedrooms and a kitchen you can genuinely cook in, the point of a place this size is that you can eat in as a party rather than plan an outing every evening. It is set up for families too, with a cot, a heated pool, a lift and a fitness room. If you are travelling with young children, that side is already handled.

Who I would point elsewhere: anyone picturing a long beach to swim and lie on, or shops and restaurants at the end of the street. St-Jean or Flamands suit that better, and I would say so before you booked rather than let you find out. What you get in exchange is privacy, the whole place to your group, undisturbed. That is the honest trade, and it is worth knowing which side of it you want before you choose.

What the villa has

Common questions

Is there a beach in Corossol?

Yes, a small sheltered one, and it is a fishing beach first, boats are pulled up on it and the village uses it daily. It is calm, not a stretch of sand with services. I will not guess how far it is from this particular house; ask me and I will confirm the actual walk.

Will we be far from everything?

You will use the car, and I would plan on that. The village is quiet and residential, not somewhere you walk out into for dinner or shopping. The compensation is Gustavia: the capital, the port and the boutiques sit very close to Corossol, so going into town is straightforward. If you want to step out of the door and find shops and restaurants, Corossol is the wrong choice and I will say so.

Can twelve people really stay?

The villa is listed for twelve guests in six bedrooms. What that means bed by bed is something I check with the agency for each enquiry, because a group of six adults and two families travelling together need different answers. Tell me who is travelling and I will confirm the arrangement before anything is booked.

Rates

Rates and availability

Rates depend on the season and the length of stay, so I quote them case by case rather than publishing a figure that would be wrong half the year. Tell me your dates and who is travelling, and I come back with the real number and what is still open.
