What Corossol is, and what it isn't
Corossol is a fishing village, not a resort address. Wooden boats are pulled up on a small sheltered beach, the streets are residential, and there is nothing to walk to in the evening. That is the appeal for some guests and a drawback for others. The small beach is a place to swim or come ashore, not a place to set up for the day with chairs and a cooler. Gustavia is only a few minutes from the village, which is close enough to make the quiet worth it.
The practical side
The house has a lift, which is worth knowing if anyone in the group has limited mobility. Air conditioning throughout. The private pool is heated, which matters more than people expect between December and March, when the wind picks up and unheated water gets cold. Wi-Fi and a high-speed connection, so working a few mornings is realistic. Television. There is an airport shuttle, which genuinely helps on arrival day with a group this size and its luggage. Everything else on the island is reached by car.
Corossol, A Working Fishing Village
Corossol sits on the northwest coast, a few minutes by car from Gustavia. It is one of the last places on the island where the old way of life is still plainly visible: wooden boats pulled up on the sand, a village that has stayed a village. It stays quiet. There is very little passing traffic, and evenings are genuinely calm.
The beach is small and sheltered. You can swim there, and boats come and go from it, but it is not a beach where you settle in for the day with a towel and an umbrella. If that is what you want, you will drive to Flamands, Saline or Gouverneur, and you will need the car for each of them.
You will also take the car for shopping, dinner and the airport. Nothing here is a walking distance away except the village itself.
I would not send someone here who wants nightlife, a lively beach scene, or a neighbourhood they can cross on foot. I would send someone who wants quiet and real island life.

Does a heated pool actually make a difference here?
Between December and March, yes. Nights cool down and the wind picks up, and an unheated pool can be uncomfortable at that time of year, particularly for children and older guests. The rest of the year it matters less. The lift is the other feature worth noting if your group spans several generations.
