The house and what comes with it
Four bedrooms, eight guests. That is the extent of what I can tell you about the sleeping arrangements — the bed configuration is not something I will guess at, so ask and it gets confirmed before you book. Air conditioning is fitted. There is a private pool, and it is heated. A fitness room is part of the house. Wifi, high-speed internet and a television.
Lurin, said plainly
Lurin is the high ground above Gouverneur, on the south side of the island. It is residential and quiet. There is no beach you can walk to, and I would rather say that plainly than let you find out on arrival. Gouverneur is below you, reached by a road that drops steeply; the beach down there is wild, with no bar, no restaurant, no chairs to rent. Bring what you need. There are no shops in Lurin either. You will drive for groceries, and you will drive to eat out.
Arriving, and getting around
An airport transfer is included with the house, which takes care of the arrival itself. After that you need a car. Everything in Lurin is done by car — walking the hill is not a serious option with shopping in your hands. Send the agency your dates and they answer the practical questions before you commit.
Lurin, above Gouverneur
Lurin sits on the high ground above Gouverneur, on the south side of the island. It is residential and quiet, and what people come here for is the open view over the sea.
There is no beach you can walk to. That is the main thing to know. Gouverneur is below you — a wide, wild beach with no services at all, no bar, no chairs, nothing. You drive down to it on a road that is steep and narrow.
There are no shops in Lurin itself, so every errand means getting in the car.
I would not send someone here who wants to leave the car parked all week or walk out to dinner in the evening. Lurin suits people who want distance from the crowds, quiet at night, and the view.

Can I walk to a beach from the villa?
No. Lurin has no beach you can reach on foot. Gouverneur is the closest, below the neighbourhood, down a road that descends steeply — you drive it. Once there, understand that Gouverneur has no bar, no restaurant and nothing to rent. It is a wild beach. If a house within walking distance of sand is what you want, Lurin is the wrong choice and I would say so before you book.
Do I need to rent a car if the airport transfer is included?
Yes. The transfer covers your arrival and departure, nothing more. Lurin is residential and has no shops, so groceries, beaches and dinner all mean driving. The road down to Gouverneur is steep and narrow. Arrange the car in advance for your dates rather than on landing.
How are the four bedrooms arranged?
The house has four bedrooms and sleeps eight, and that is the honest limit of what I can tell you — I do not know which rooms hold which beds, so I will not describe a layout I have not verified. Ask, and the agency confirms the exact configuration for you in writing.
