CIEL D'AZUR, FIREFLY and IL FARO ESTATE are not interchangeable. They run from six to eleven bedrooms, and IL FARO ESTATE is an estate of three separate houses rather than one building, which changes how a large group actually lives in it: several families can keep their own space instead of sharing one roof. That matters more than the address. Anse des Cayes is a small residential bay on the north coast, so the stock here is thin and dates go early for the bigger houses. What you accept with this address
The bay is small and residential. It is not set up for visitors, so do not plan a full day there the way you would at a serviced beach. When the swell comes in, the water suits surfing more than swimming, and that shifts week to week. Everything else is a drive: the car to eat, the car to shop, the car to reach Gustavia. Most of the island works that way, but people arriving from a hotel stay are sometimes caught out. So the three houses have to hold your day, not just your nights, and that is the question to ask me about each of them. If your holiday depends on walking to a beach in the morning and staying there, this is the wrong address, and I would rather say so now than after you have booked.

St Jean puts the shops and the central bay on your doorstep, along with the traffic, the noise and the crowd on the sand. Anse des Cayes sits a few minutes away by car and gives you quiet in the evening. Choose St Jean if you want to walk to everything. Choose Anse des Cayes if you want to sleep.
Anse des Cayes or Flamands?
Flamands is a long beach open to the ocean, with real swell and no shops nearby. It is calm, and it is further from St Jean. Anse des Cayes is a smaller bay but closer to services and the airport. If the beach itself is the point of the trip, Flamands. If you want the shortest daily drives, here.

I want quiet, but not to be cut off. Does this work?
Yes, and that is the main argument for it. Addresses like Pointe Milou or Lurin are quieter still, but they have no beach at all and every errand is a longer drive. Anse des Cayes is residential and calm while keeping St Jean a few minutes away. You will still need a car, every day.
